TheBikeTrader web site was started by Paulo David. Paulo is an avid motorbike enthusiast and rides his Aprilia RSV 1000 Factory motorbike around the race track at Kyalami in Johannesburg. He also owns a BMW R1200 GS Adventure that he rides on the road.

Paulo has found that over the years he has accumulated various motorbike accessories that although still in good condition he has no use for. The question kept being asked "What do I do with this?". The old fashioned garage sale would have been the ideal opportunity to dispose, sell or swop these items, but current living in SA do not allow for these types of events.

So, thebiketrader web site was created to enable the bike enthusiast to advertise his "garage sale" items to be for sale, to swop or give away.
